Central Grounds is looking for volunteers to act as crowd control, ticket collectors and band groupies to help set up the Lake Normandale Bandshell for this years Stompin' Grounds 2005. This is a fun event and volunteering counts towards community service hours at school!

Mobile Coffee Cart
The City of Bloomington Human Services Division has recommended BYCI to receive a grant in the amount of $3,500 for 2005, to be used for the purchase of a food cart. We will use the food cart to serve food and beverages at BYCI events.

BYCI/BUY Merger
The lawyers for BYCI and BUY (Lindquist and Venom has generously donated their time) have drafted revised bylaws and a merger document to allow the BYCI and BUY boards to merge. We expect to call a BYCI board meeting probably in the first half of December to approve moving forward with the merger.

Permanent Location Search: Old Town Hall
We are continuing to dialogue with the city and some corporate sponsors including the Toro Company about designating permanent space in the Old Town Hall for use by high school students; this is still up in the air.
